Employer Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

• Employer: A user who registers to hire househelps through Homeworker.info.
• Platform: The Homeworker.info website and services.
• Househelp: A domestic worker available for employment.

2. Responsibilities

• Provide accurate job offers, payment terms, and expectations.
• Offer fair pay as per the Kenyan Employment Act, 2007.
• Maintain safe, respectful, and lawful work environments.

3. Prohibited Conduct

• No abuse, exploitation, or underpayment of workers.
• No discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, religion, or disability.
• No misleading or false job advertisements.

4. Payments and Contracts

• Homeworker.info does not handle employee salary, contracts or payment agreements with the employer.
• We recommend written contracts for clarity and legal protection.

5. Ratings and Feedback

• Employers may be rated by workers.
• Abusive conduct can lead to suspension or banning from the platform.

6. Privacy & Data

• Employer data is securely handled under Kenya’s Data Protection Act.
• Employers can request their data be deleted.

7. Account Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend accounts violating these terms.
• You may request account deletion at any time.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
Disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
